Stars in the night, lights in the towns and city, it was beautiful even if it happens every time the moon comes up. The busy streets cool down as everyone heads home from the rat races known as work or school. It’s a time of joy from the stress for everyone except for one little girl. She was dressed in ragged clothes, wasn’t good to look at except her innocent youthful face and silk blonde hair. She roamed the streets, the cold gripping her fragile skin. Feeling the exhaustion she takes shelter on the side of a dumpster. She pulls out her necklace locket, opening to a sweet looking woman. Broken Wings Generation: Chap. 2

15 has passed since that touching moment…

It was Friday and wasn't full of excitement. Tenshi and Akuma were sitting in the living room, watching the news about something that happened at the Mall. Suddenly their daughter Aurora bursts the door open, panting as if she was running for miles.

"Hi Honey. What's wrong?" the concerned mother asks Aurora.

"We have to go. Now." Aurora says catching her breath.

"What are you talking about? What's going on?" Dad asks.

"There's no time to…"

Broken Wings: Title undecidedIt was nightfall over the quiet town. Within the bookstore, only two souls populated the room with their company. Zach and Kagami, two lovebirds exchanging conversation as time flew by. Upon noticing the clock after avoiding it for three hours, Kagami knew it was time.

"Sorry I gotta cut our time short but I better get home before it gets too late." She says.

"Okay. Let me close the store early and walk you home."

"No it's okay, I'll be fine."

"Are you sure, wouldn't want anything to happen to you. You were lucky Akuma and Tenshi were close by the last time."

"Zachy I'll be fine I promise."

A side story Ch.2I looked at the guy who approached me and I said the first thing that came to my mind

Me: "What's up?"
Random dude: "Not much, odd to see another American around a small town in Japan"

I took a closer look at him it was obvious that he was American plus he looked like he was around 18 or 19 years old

Me: "I should say the same thing about you. Pull up a chair and lets talk for a bit, I'm getting tired of this manga"

He grabbed a chair and we started talking, he said that his name was Dylan and we began disguising why the both of us are here in the first place

It was lunchtime for the entire school. Dear Tenshi was walking down the hall with two bentos at hand. Throughout the hallways were crowds of students gathering around bulletin boards. It's that time of year! This is a Christmas/Winter/New Year's themed contest based on my Broken Wings manga. You may draw or write a story of my characters during the winter holidays!

Rules:
*Please put in the group name #Broken-Wings-Manga and that it's for the contest in the description of your entry
*Submit it to the group
*You may submit more than one entry

Prizes:
*1st Place: 100 points
*2nd Place: 75 points
*3rd Place: 40 points
*4th Place 25 points

(I'm sorry the prizes aren't much, I don't have as many points this time, but if you are willing to donate, I will appreciate it and raise the prizes a bit)

The due date is on December 31 AKA New Year's Eve!
